1. Strategic Alignment
Womenful Voice’s mission is to empower Haitian women and girls through education, health, leadership, and environmental stewardship, in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development
The “Haiti Today” campaign was designed to echo this mission by highlighting current challenges in Haiti and championing Haitian voices—diving into Haiti's rich culture, refuting misinformation, and reinforcing our brand’s authenticity and deep commitment to SDG-aligned empowerment.
2. Creative & Visual Strategy
Cultural Resonance & Brand Identity: We infused Haitian pride by incorporating the Haitian flag motif into “HAITI TODAY,” paired with our Womenful Voice branding to reinforce organizational credibility.
Speaker-Centric Design: Featuring our panelists—leaders like Sasha Filippova, Guerds Jean, Johnny Celestin, CPT. Tarah Ernest, Nadia Todres, Vanessa Suffren—with bold portrait borders emphasized diversity, professional gravitas, and personal storytelling.
Urgency & Countdown: A large “1 Week To Go” graphic created timeliness and motivated engagement, complemented by countdown visuals for earlier posts.
3. Integrated Campaign Execution
Platform Strategy:
Focused on LinkedIn Live to reach professional audiences, donors, partners, and volunteers interested in social impact solutions.
Created tailored posts: 2-week teaser; 1-week countdown; 3-day reminders; live broadcast announcements—optimized for LinkedIn branding and algorithm.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Worked directly with Program Managers to shape the messaging around Haiti’s mentorship, scholarship, health, and reforestation initiatives.
Coordinated with Development/Fundraising to include CTAs for donations, mailing list signup, and corporate sponsorship opportunities tied to our annual “Voices of Haiti” event.
Engaged Speakers & Volunteers in reposting and sharing content—boosting organic reach.
Amplification:
Developed a suite of assets: teaser videos, speaker highlight reels, quote cards, follow-up clips.
Deployed email and newsletter reminders to email subscribers, converting awareness into registration.
4. Campaign Performance & Outcomes
Impressions: ~28K views across LinkedIn posts
Engagement: 500+ interactions, including 40+ high-profile reshares
Registrations: 860 signups—72% above benchmark
Live Reach: 520 live attendees; 2K+ replay views in first week
Growth Metrics: 70+ email subscribers; 20 donor leads identified
These metrics reflect not just reach, but tangible growth in visibility and community-building aligned with our SMART objectives.
5. Insights & Best Practices
Authentic narratives rooted in Womenful Voice’s mission (education, environmental sustainability, leadership) perform best: storytelling that aligns with SDGs resonates emotionally and intellectually.
LinkedIn leverages professionalism—content tied to meaningful social issues, expertise, and speakers with gravitas drives higher engagement.
Operational alignment drives impact: cross-team coordination ensures messaging reflects programmatic depth (e.g., mentorship, reforestation, community health) and supports fundraising funnels and long-term supporter cultivation.
6. Impact Beyond the Event
The campaign extended leadership visibility for Womenful Voice in professional networks and enriched our brand reputation as an SDG-aligned nonprofit.
We harnessed the event to introduce future opportunities—annual symposiums, silent auctions, volunteer roles, sponsorships—guiding audience members from awareness to deeper involvement.
Post-event, the content continues to feed reusable assets (testimonials, imagery, video clips) supporting ongoing programs across mentorship, scholarships, menstrual health, and agroforestry initiatives
Conclusion:
The “Haiti Today” campaign exemplifies strategic, mission-driven marketing—blending visual storytelling, expert voices, and cross-team collaboration to drive measurable outcomes. It reinforced Womenful Voice’s leadership in empowering Haitian women and girls, amplified our programming, and created pathways for sustainable engagement and growth.
